This is a Powerpoint presentation with lots of reading activities for secondary school students of English as a second or foreign language, preferably of the age of 12 or 13. All these activities are NOT to be done with one group during one class, but we need to decide which are the most convinient for the level and characteristics of our group. The text I have chosen is "Three unusual hotels", which appears in the textbook Effective Reading 1 (elementary), but I think these activities can be adapted to any other text.
